My sister just found out she’s pregnant..but?

she hasn’t yet been to her “regular checkup” at the dentist yet. She is (according to her OB) 7 weeks along. I know that good oral hygiene is an absolute must to ensure a healthy pregnancy…but since she hasn’t yet seen the dentist this year is it still ok/safe for her to get her checkup/cleaning (and fillings if needed). She’s worried silly and I honestly don’t know what to tell her (all of my kids were planned and i went before getting pregnant..so I’m not the person to ask )

It is absolutely safe! They’re more worried about x-rays than fillings tho.. My dentist cleaned my teeth twice while I was pregnant, and I was fine
